Jump Soles review

Price: Although the Jump Soles is easily one of the pricer programs on the market today for increasing your vert, that doesn’t mean that you should immediately dismiss it. In fact, those who have used the Jump Soles have been so pleased with the experience and the results that they saw that they were more than pleased with the price that the Jump Soles go for, and would be happy to pay more for the same results if they had to. Also, when you are looking into the Jump Soles, it is important to note that the prices you see are different for some of the products that they offer. The original Jump Soles by themselves are just $100, which is a pretty fair price considering all of the punishment that you are going to give them when training with them. If you buy the Jump Soles by themselves you will also get a DVD to go along with it, and of course a manual for the soles so you know how to use them to their full potential. However, it would be a good idea to consider some of the other options that the Jump Soles has to offer those that are interested in. they offer two more packages which cost $149 and $169, respectively. Each one comes with more helpful material than the previous one, which is sure to help you learn to increase your vert at a much faster rate.

Bonuses: With the Jump Soles program you have the option to order a jump box to go along with your purchase. This will provide the perfect platform to jump onto when you are following the program, and is often called upon in the instructions. It is also one of the most effective and easiest ways to gauge how much progress you are making, as it is a pretty impressive thing to be able to make it on top of this box. The box will cost you an extra $130, but many of the pros that have used this program say that it is a necessary addition if you want to make the most out of the Jump Soles and see the best results possible.

What You Get: Since the Jump Soles program is one of the most expensive on the market today, it is only natural for someone who is going to buy one, be interested in knowing what they are going to get for their money. After all, nobody is going to want to spend $100 on a program if they don’t even know what they are going to end up with once they receive it. Fortunately, if decide to go with the Jump Soles, you will have the peace of mind knowing that you are going to be getting some of the best equipment around that is specifically designed to do nothing more than increase your vert and train your feet and calves in a way that maximizes the height of your jump. Jump soles can be worn on most any shoes, and they are securely strapped to the bottom of the shoe where they won’t leave unless if you take them off. With these new sole that are securely strapped to the bottom of your shoes, you will be able to train your calves (which play a vital role in boosting your vertical jump), along with your feet. Those that strictly follow the program see nothing short of spectacular results, as some have claimed increases of 12 inches during the program.

Conclusion: Although the price is certainly something that may put off a lot of people to the Jump Soles, the simple fact of the matter is that if you can afford it, it is something that you should seriously consider trying because of how effective of a product it really is. Jump Soles rely on something called Plyometrics, which is a training program that has been proven time and time again throughout history to be an extremely effective way of putting on muscle size and strength, something that is necessary to help increase your vert. If you are prepared to pay the price for the Jump Soles, there really is no substitute for how good of a product it is; something that everyone should try!

Air Alert

Author: TMT Sports

Air Alert review

Price: The price is one of the best parts about the air alert program. Although it is a very effective program and easily one of the best on the market today, the best way that it is able to separate itself from the other programs is by offering an extremely competitive price, which is exactly what it does. It is not uncommon when you are shopping for a new jumping program to find some that cost in excess of $100. And don’t be fooled by some of their marketing gimmicks and other tricks, they are essentially the same thing to begin with, with only slight differences between the two. This is why getting the Air Alert vert program makes a whole lot of sense, as it is one that does just as much as some of the other, more expensive programs, but for much less money. Remember to also take into consideration the cost of shipping and handling charges, as that is something that is typically overlooked when one is researching a good jump program to go with. The Air Alert jump program comes in at a modest $30, with shipping and handling charges taken into consideration in that figure.

Bonuses: With a very competitive price tag like the one that the Air Alert has, one would expect the author of the program to in a way skimp out on some of the stuff that will be included with it. Fortunately, this is not the case as the air alert program actually comes with a lot of cool stuff that no other program includes. An example of this would be the pair of court controllers that comes with each order of Air Alert. The Court Controllers are something that everyone in the Air Alert program is going to be interested in because of what they do, and that is the fact that they don’t let you look down on the floor when you’re dribbling. This forces you to get the feel of dribbling, which is an essential step in learning how to effectively do it.

Guarantee: When you are shopping around for a new jump program to use, it is important to note that you are going to see a whole lot of guarantees that are thrown around. Some of these may be completely legitimate claims, but others may not. The important thing to take away here is that the Air Alert guarantee is one that you can trust and in the unlikely event that you don’t see the results that you are looking for, then you can get a full refund for your money, no questions asked. But even this is a claim that you will see thrown around a lot in the market for a new jumping program, so to make sure that you know Air Alert means business, they will promise to double the money that you paid for the program if you aren’t totally satisfied with it. Not only will this cover the shipping costs for the program, but you will actually turn out ahead of where you originally were financially.

What You Get: The Air Alert program comes with a lot of stuff that is going to keep you busy. But these are all critical things in helping you complete the task of increasing your vert by as much as 12 inches. You will get a 33 minute long DVD with the program, that is recorded both in English and Spanish. You will also get a good sized training manual to compliment the DVD, and will be a great resource for those that are using the program. The program also includes a chart for you to measure yourself on, along with two different workout charts (normal and traditional), and of course the court controllers that were mentioned earlier. Keep in mind that you are getting all of this for the very reasonable price tag of just $30 including the shipping charges.

Conclusion: There is certainly no shortage of things to like about the Air Alert program. Not only is it prove to be an effective workout program, but it is also extremely inexpensive for those with a little bit tighter budget. And it isn’t like they have given you less for your money, as you are actually get a lot of stuff with the Air Alert program, proving that it is one of the best out there for people to use.

Author: Jacob Hiller

Price: Although some people may say that the Jump Manual is overpriced at $67, when you consider the efficacy of what can do and what it is capable of, then it is really hard to complain about how much they are charging for it. also, there are plenty of other products on the market that make the same claims as Jump Manual, that simply fall short of doing just that, all while costing the customer even more money! After taking this into consideration, it is really a no-brainer to make sure that you are getting the jump manual for your vert increase program. Also be sure to take into consideration the costs for shipping and handling when deciding if the Jump Manual is the right one for you. Typically you won’t be paying any more than $10 for shipping and handling charges, but it is always safe to be ready. Also, the shipping and handling charges are something that you are going to have to pay for just about any of the jump programs on the market today, so you will have a hard time avoiding them anways.

Guarantee: This is where the Jump Manual comes into its own, as it is prepared to back up the claims that it makes. This is something that separates it from a lot of the other jump programs. While they all make big and impressive claims as to what it can do to your vert jump, few of them are actually prepared to back up what they have said by offering a refund. That’s right, if you aren’t satisfied with the results that the Jump Manual gives you a full refund for what you paid to get the Jump Manual. This means that there is really nothing to lose with the Jump Manual. If you buy it and see the results that they claim, then you are certain to be satisfied with what it has done. However, if you don’t see the results that they are claiming for their product, then you get a full refund for everything that you paid (minus shipping charges). This means that you have nothing to lose when you are trying out the Jump Manual, and a whole lot to gain… 13 inches in fact!

What you get: So what exactly do you get with the Jump Manual? The program is very intense, and it is comprised of some very demanding exercise that have been time-tested to lead to a higher vert. All of these will be on a DVD for you so you can watch it at any time you want, and the instructions are extremely clear to make sure that you are getting the right exercise and avoiding injury at all times possible. This principle carries over to the diet that is provided with the Jump Manual, where you are given a list of foods that have been proven to help you increase you jump size, all while avoiding injury to make sure that you are safe when doing the program. However, that is not the end of what is going to be complete with the program when you order it. You will also get access to exclusive videos only available to those with the Jump Manual. These interviews could be with just about anyone of relevance when it comes to increasing the size of your vertical jump, but it is usually with an athlete that has had experience with the program, and they are there to lend their insight into the program along with their experience. Combine that with one on one training via email, and you have something that no other training program can even come close to.

Reviews: There are a lot of things that point to the fact that the Jump Manual is the way to go to increase your jump size. For one, if you do a little bit of research on some of the customer reviews, you will immediately notice a trend that pops up, and that is that just about everyone who has tried the Jump Manual was satisfied with it. The results of what most of the people see are pretty similar as well, as most report a whopping 13 inches in the time of the program, yet another thing that separates it from a lot of the other jump programs. This is right in line with what the program is claiming, showing that what you see is really what you are going to get with this program.

Conclusion: The Jump Manual really is one of, if not the greatest jump manual that is being sold today. It has everything that you could possibly want in a jump manual and a whole lot more, making it something that just about any athlete would be interested in!

Plyometrics

Since you’re reading this, I’m guessing you want to jump higher, increase your speed and strength. If you said yes, well you’ve come to the right place. What is plyometrics you ask? Plyometrics is just a name for exercises where the muscle is essentially, loaded before it’s contracted. An example is a depth jump, one of the most popular exercises for jumping higher. You stand on an elevated surface, step off and as soon as your toes hit the ground you explode up. Notice how when you step off and touch the ground, your muscles are loaded? And then when you explode off the ground they contract? That’s what a plyometric exercise is, in a simple man’s term though.

So you must be asking yourself, is plyometrics really effective? The answer is yes. Plyometrics is one of the top ways, if not the greatest way to improve the power in your body. Plyometrics is used by many developing athletes in many sports and is the greatest utilized training method in basketball and volleyball because you need to jump high of course, whether to rebound, dunk or to spike the volleyball. Many studies have shown that plyometrics can easily, yes easily improve performance is long jumping, sprinting, vertical jumping and more!

Plyometrics exercises

Here are some examples of plyometric exercises;

Plyometrics exercises to jump higher

Depth Jumps; the bread and butter of plyometrics to jump high. The exercise is plain and simple; get a box, stand on top of the box, step of the box, as soon as you come into contact with the ground, jump up as high as you can.
Technical aspects; box height; to find the correct box height you need to first measure your vertical leap. You can learn how to reading and watching this; . After you find your vertical jump, you want to get a box around knee height, step off it, jump as high as you can and record your vertical leap again. You want to raise the box an inch and do it again until you find the peak in your jump. For example, I just 35 inches in the air without a box. I get a box and put the box at 21 inches, I jump 34 inches. Then I put the box at 22 inches and I jump 36 inches. I then put the box at 23 inches and I jump 35 inches. As you can see, when the box is at 22 inches in height I jump the highest, so that is the height of the box I would want to use.

Rim Jumps; This one’s easy; Find a basketball hoop somewhere, stand directly under it and jump up touching any bit of the rim which you can; net, rim or backboard. After landing again, you want to quickly explode back up and touch the part you can with your alternate hand. Try to minimize the time you are on the ground and maximize the explosiveness you use.

Plyometric exercises to run faster

Hill sprints; The best exercise to increase your acceleration when sprinting. Because you are running on an upwards angle, it forces your body to the ground more heavily which mimics the acceleration phase of a sprint. Simply find a hill, not to steep or not to flat. You want to run up the hill, walk back down, rinse and repeat.

Zig Zags; Find a rope or line. Stand with your feet together on the left side of the lined object. The aim is to jump to the right side of the lined object as quickly as possible. As soon as you hit the right side, explode to the side back to the left, rise and repeat.

So to conclude; Plyometrics is one of the best tools an athlete can use to increase their explosion. It’s been around only in the last century and was used by Russian coaches to train Olympians. So get out there and start doing plyometrics, you’ll be dunking in no time!

Jumping Muscles

Ever wondered what muscles are used in jumping the most, so you can focus on those particular muscles? A study has shown (Link above), what muscles are used most in jumping. Don’t forget that you need to utilize every muscle when jumping and not just train one specific muscle.

The study listed above shows the muscle groups and their percentages of use;
A. Lower body
hip extention
knee extention
plantar flexion.

B. Back:
Retroflexion

C. Shoulders:

Please note that everyone is different, and its best to train all your muscles when jumping. All the muscles used in jumping should be trained equally, bare in mind that for example, if this study says that the bicep is a vital tool in jumping, it does not say that you must train that solely, you must train your jumping muscles equally.

How to measure how high you jump

There are various and many different ways to measure your vertical leap and ultimately, how high you jump. One of the most popular ways which you do without much tools is this way;

1. Stand next to a wall and outstretch your main arm as high as you can, measure your reach.
2. Now jump as high as you can and try touch either the wall or rim, record this.
3. Now subtract how high you touch from your reach.

Equipment needed;

Tape measure

For example; I reach 220cm in the air. I touch the rim which is 305cm, so my vertical jump is 85cm.

The main idea is just to measure your standing reach and then how high you jump and then subtract both. Using this idea you can get as creative as you want, from; touching above the rim, a wall, the roof or anything, as long as you can measure how high you touch, you can measure your vertical.

Measuring your vertical leap is one of the best ways to measure your progress, and it’s good to note it as you can see when you’re fatigued, at your best or the same. You can then alter your training routine to suit this.

Hang time

There is absolutely no way for you to increase your hang time. The only way to actually increase the time you’re in the air for is to increase your vertical! Some people like Michael Jordan appear to float, or have hang time, but it’s just an illusion he makes with his legs.

Hang time is all about the illusion, but for the illusion to work, you need to jump higher and faster. To jump higher you need to increase your vertical leap, so there is no actual way to increase the time you hang in the air, but you can increase the time you are in the air for.

Sports science also did a video on this and they busted the myth, hang time is not real, its an illusion.
